Week 15: Antibacterial Soap Effective or Not?

Hey Scholars!!!

I was doing some research this past weekend and found out alot about the effectiveness of different brands of AntiBacterial Soap (purell, etc). I challege you to do the same. We wash our hands (or are suppose to) constantly but does it really matter what type of soap we use? This week find me some information on if Antibacterial soap works better than regular. (site the article or website you found the info from)

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) it does not really work better.(They did a study on it) Soap is soap in my opinion. And if water and soap cleans your hands and helps prevents from colds and such then so should antibacterial soap and water. And i was saying JUST soap in general and water help clean the hands and prevent colds and thats the end of that.It was very interesting reading about the study at this website also: http://www.everydayhealth.com/cold-and-flu/antibacterial-soap.aspx
